In Hungary , her country of origin , she used to illustrate children’s books. In Italy she has developed her artistic abilities towards ceramics. She creates small decorated balls which are very suitable for finishing off folk embroidery.

THESSY SCHOENHOLZER NICHOLS

CARLO LANDUCCI

Carlo is a very keen photographer. His curiosity takes him from the sculptured Tuscan country-side to the soft and sinuous African horizons, arriving to confront himself with embroidery and threads. As President of the no-profit association “ Gli occhi della speranza” his free time is dedicated to organizing optical laboratories in Zambia and Marocco.

GUIDO FAURO

Stylist for ateliers, industries and women’s fashion magazines. Graduated in Literature, with a specialist degree in Art History, he taught Costume History, Fashion History and its organisation, Art History in stylists' schools, in Istituto Centrale del Restauro di Roma (Restoration Institute in Rome), in Universities of Trieste and Firenze.
He has written for magazines and sector encyclopedias, he has also taken part in International conventions.
Self-educated in practical arts, he creates paper divertissements using a mix of techniques: Micro-collage, craving in “closed space”, dotting, weaving...

ALICE COMUNELLI

Art historian gallery manager, tourist guide. Graduates with maximum grades in History of Art with a thesis on medieval embroidery – Opus Anglicanum. At the University of Genova she follows a post-grade course on Marketing of Cultural Heritage. She is fascinated by the Middle Ages and in particular the minor arts.
She writes for a small blog about culture in all its forms.
